BID PACKAGE OPPORTUNITIES
Block E: Parking Garage & Entertainment Venue
The design of Block E includes an approximately 900 space parking garage to serve the shared public parking needs of the Lower Hill District. The garage will house rent-free incubator retail space along Logan Street as part of a community reinvestment program. A public safety facility is designed for the corner of Bedford Avenue and Fullerton Street. The adjacent Entertainment Venue will have seating capacity for over 4,000 guests and primary entrances at the corner of Logan Street and Wylie Avenue, with 4,500 SF of commercial space along Wylie Avenue. The project promotes the goals of the Community Collaboration and Implementation Plan, including the expansion of opportunities for minority and women business enterprises (“M/WBE”) and the promotion of local workforce development initiatives across the pre-development, construction, and operation of this mixed-use project. The development team will leverage significant progress made against these goals (over $43 million in commitments to date to nearly 45 MWBEs) during the development of the FNB Financial Center project on adjacent parcels in the Lower Hill District, which broke ground last Fall and is advancing ahead of the development on Block E.
