Community Collaboration Implementation Plan (CCIP)

Community Impact, Inclusion Engagement

These neighborhoods have a long, complex and storied history. Recognizing the many needs of the adjacent communities, The Community Collaboration Implementation Plan offers a framework to collectively engage around shared goals and optimize the positive impacts the development can have. Work with local non-profits, minority-owned businesses, community leaders and organizations to find synergies that support the project’s success while helping to set a new standard for mixed use development in urban settings.

Executive Management Committee (EMC)
Oversight and implementation of the CCIP is the responsibility of the Executive Management Committee, a nine-person committee with three co-chairs including District 6 City Councilman Daniel Lavelle; Mayor Bill Peduto; and Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel Pittsburgh Penguins, Kevin Acklin.

Committee members include Glenn Grayson (Hill District Resident); Majestic Lane - Deputy Chief of Staff & Chief Equity Officer, City of Pittsburgh at City of Pittsburgh; Councilman Daniel Lavelle - City of Pittsburgh, District 6; Tracey McCants Lewis - Vice President, Human Resources and Deputy General Counsel Pittsburgh Penguins; Glenn Mahone – Partner, Reed Smith LLP (retired); Tyian Battle – Executive Director at ACH Clear Pathways; Marimba Milliones - President & CEO at Hill Community Development Corporation; Irvin Williams  - President at the Sankofa Group, Inc.; Kevin Acklin - Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel Pittsburgh Penguins
