Pittsburgh's
 New Center of Energy

At the crossroads of the city and region, the Lower Hill Redevelopment is a mixed-use destination filled with vibrant places to work, live, celebrate and play. The vision calls for a dynamic and seamless development that connects north, south, east and west through activated green spaces, pedestrian friendly retail corridors and multi-modal, urban environments. The project's welcoming open spaces will support festivals and large-scale celebrations as well as smaller gatherings and community events. A linear parkland will extend through the neighborhood, anchoring activity across the 28 acres and redefining Wylie Avenue as a pedestrian corridor. A diverse mix of program uses and building scales express a unique and authentic Pittsburgh character, supported by numerous entertainment venues and a lively year-round streetscape experience. From Freedom Corner to the new CAP park connector to the downtown, Lower Hill Redevelopment will attract visitors near and far to a center of energy featuring culture, commerce, and celebration.

2020 Pre-Development Services Request for Qualifications (RFQ)

Pittsburgh Arena Real Estate Redevelopment LP (“PAR”) is pleased to present this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) to enhance the list of pre-qualified contractors, vendors, professional service providers, retail tenants, owners and co-developers to participate in the redevelopment of the Lower Hill.

PAR is working with public partners and private development teams from Intergen Real Estate Group, LLC (PAR’s housing development partner) and The Buccini / Pollin Group, Inc. (PAR’s commercial development partner) on redeveloping the Lower Hill into a successful, mixed-use project consistent with a recently-completed Master Plan from Gensler. The development team has updated public databases of certified firms available to support this project and expects to boost those contractor identification efforts with this open RFQ.

Interested parties are invited to submit qualifications in response to this RFQ.
